Most people gloss over them in favour of all the shiny lasers and PPCs, but when all your fire support mechs no longer suffer from minimum range problems, the benefits are amazing. I generally favour things that will be faster to swap out, meaning that core things like endo steel and XL engines are pretty much out, as they take too long to change up.įirst stop is for LRM. TL DR version: Anything and everything I can get my hands on.

Given that low price I would rather keep it than trade it for an Atlas or like. Comparable for an Inner Sphere mech of the same caliber the price always seems low(A Mad-Cat/Timberwolf Prime for about 24M for example). On that note though how easy is it to turn over Clan materials and what price can you get? I have often thought about selling captured Omnimechs but the price seems rather low. Lastly, I covet Clan electronics of all sorts but especially targeting computers. In addition Clan Ferro fibrous armor is always in short supply for repairing damaged captured machines. I would always be happy to get my hands on Clan double heat sinks to save critical space in my own machines. I definitely like to get my hands on Clan ER lasers as they allow a strong edge in engagements. A million C-Bills for a Clan ER Large Laser is a steal if I don't have to risk a raid to get my hands upon it. If I ever had a chance to buy it I would pay likely 2-5x cost of the inner sphere counterpart just for the convenience. I have never actually had an opportunity to buy Clan gear, instead having gained all mine through battlefield salvage or raiding Clan second line facilities.
